Our very own founder, Anna Woodward Kennedy, was a guest on Richard Lucas and Kimon Fountoukidis’ “NBN Entrepreneurship & Leadership Podcast.” Her October 26th episode highlights all things relevant to her journey as a Language Quality Assurance Pioneer. She shares her experience growing up in Brazil, and how it primed her for the wavy sea of entrepreneurship. She went from publishing to founding her own business, identifying and leaning on women leaders as she went along. She also learned that self-awareness is paramount, especially when attempting to go where no one has gone before.
Anna built Chillistore about recognizing a profound error within the translation industry’s quality control system. She set out to “right a wrong,” and the result was Chillistore — a team of quality experts that range from linguists, to writers, to artists, to programmers, to managers. They live across the globe, and bring a wide range of experiences to their work. They mend gaps between translators, reviewers, and stakeholders, to help clients understand and appeal to their audiences in a fluid way. Chillistore rights a wrong, and it’s thanks to Anna’s vision, resilience, and hard work.
